Fine Handcrafted Art Tile & Murals

Since 1972, Arius Tile has been creating a renaissance in the American Art Tile. Drawing from our own creative resources and on the objects and images from current and historic World Cultures, Arius has been telling stories in Design on Tile from our Santa Fe Studio and Galleries to around the world.

Other than the machine produced bisque tile base, all our work is done entirely by hand - from the original drawing, to the transfer of patterns, to the painting, glazing and kiln firing - all by us in our Studio in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

This on-line catalog will eventually document 31 years of work - from single tiles, to murals, to large public space installation projects - from our own designs to limited editions translating other artists’ work onto tile - from home name & address tiles to complete signage for Hotels and Real Estate Developments - from private to museum commissions. In time it will all be on-line for you to enjoy, learn from, and if you would like, to purchase. We will tell the story of Arius and the story of our designs in image and text.
